Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) with Donor Sperm-Missouri Center for Reproductive Medicine & Fertility

Sperm from an anonymous donor can be purchased from our bank or from an accredited outside sperm bank. Donor semen from outside banks can be shipped to our center and stored in our sperm bank until it is needed for IUI.

If a patient wishes to use a designated donor, a man known to her who has agreed to provide sperm for her IUI, federal regulations require that this donor must be screened. The screening process is very similar to that performed for anonymous donors. See our information sheet on Screening Designated Donors.
